Volunteer Roles

• Canvassing

  • Go door-to-door to talk with voters, share information about candidates and issues, and encourage voter turnout.

  • Time Commitment: Flexible shifts, typically 2–4 hours per session.

  • Expectations: Friendly, respectful communication; comfortable walking in neighborhoods.

• Phone Banking

  • Contact voters by phone to provide information, remind them to vote, and answer basic questions.

  • Time Commitment: Usually 2–3 hour sessions from home or a central location.

  • Expectations: Clear speaking, patience, and ability to follow scripts.

• Event Support

  • Help set up, manage logistics, and assist attendees at rallies, meetings, and fundraisers.

  • Time Commitment: Varies by event; can be a few hours or full-day commitments.

  • Expectations: Reliable, organized, and proactive attitude.

• Poll Greeting

  • Welcome voters at polling locations during Early Voting or Election Day, provide nonpartisan information, and encourage civic participation.

  • Time Commitment: Shifts typically last 2–4 hours.

  • Expectations: Friendly demeanor, knowledge of voting rights, and adherence to election laws.

• Social Media Outreach

  • Create and share content to promote events, spread awareness, and engage with the community online.

  • Time Commitment: Flexible, ongoing.

  • Expectations: Creativity, familiarity with social media platforms, and consistent communication.
